To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) if he will direct Her Majesty's ambassador to the United Nations to place on record United Kingdom disapproval of the French Government's release of Dominique Prieur and Alan Maffart from Hao;

(2) if he will make representations to his French counterpart, following the release of Dominique Prieur and Alan Maffart from Hao.
