HC Deb 18 May 1988 vol 133 c469W
Mr. Home Robertson

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will compile information on the incidence of overcrowding in housing accommodation in each district and islands area.

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

No. However, the Housing (Scotland) Bill makes an amendment to part VII of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 which will again allow local authorities to make surveys of the extent of overcrowding in their areas.
