To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he next expects to meet the Medical Research Council.

I last met the council on 5 February 1988, and am planning to visit the M RC's national institute for medical research on 30 June. My right hon. Friend is hoping to meet representatives of the MRC before the summer recess.
