§ Mr. DunnachieTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will introduce legislation requiring local health authorities to supply information about voluntary organisations which can give help and support to deaf children and their parents.
§ Mr. Michael ForsythI do not consider that such legislation is required, since Scottish local authorities responsible for social work services are already under a statutory duty to provide disabled people with such information on services provided by themselves or other organisations as is in their possession.
