§ Mr. Cran
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the cost to the Exchequer of paying the inner London secretarial allowance to those in receipt of such allowance over the last five years for which figures are available.

The inner London secretarial allowance was introduced with effect from 1 April 1985. Its estimated cost to the Exchequer is as follows:
