§ 104. Mr. Batiste
To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he has any proposals to strengthen the British national space centre.

§ Mr. Kenneth Clarke
As announced in my answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Corby (Mr. Powell) on 18 April 1988 at columns350–51, Mr. Arthur Pryor has been appointed director general of the British national space centre. He will be reviewing the effectiveness of the centre as part of his new responsibilities.
