To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will consider making launch aid available for aircraft equipment manufacturers.

My Department's policy has been to provide launch aid only to airframe and aeroengine manufacturers. Equipment companies may be eligible to apply for other forms of support under the Department's enterprise initiative.
