§ Mr. Alfred MorrisTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment what action he has taken concerning the Public Accounts Committee's findings in regard to the100W employment of people with disabilities, the distribution of employment rehabilitation centres and his Department's lack of reliable information on the numbers and locations of disabled people; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. LeeThe Government are considering the conclusions reached by the Public Accounts Committee. A response will be conveyed to the Public Accounts Committee in due course. The Government have announced already that the view expressed by the Public Accounts Committee will be among the matters taken into account in the internal review of services for people with disabilities set up by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State earlier in the year.
