To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what action he is taking to improve the flow of traffic and the environment at the White Hart roundabout, Northolt, during current and future work on the Hayes bypass and related works; and if he will make a statement.

Any proposals to improve the flow of traffic and the environment at the White Hart roundabout are a matter for the London borough of Ealing, which is the highway authority responsible for this scheme. I understand that the opening of a section of the new roundabout today together with associated traffic management should improve the situation. The scheme includes environmental measures.
