§ Mr. HumeTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish tax benefit tables, taking account of rent and rates levels in Northern Ireland, to show the net weekly spending power of(a) a single person, (b) a married couple with no children, (c) a couple with a child aged 11 years, (d) a couple with two children aged eight and 11 years, (e) a couple with three children aged eight, 11 and 15 years, (f) a couple with four children aged three, eight, 11 and 15 years, (g) a single person with two children aged eight and 11 years, and (h) a single person with two children under four years of age, with weekly earnings of (i) £60, (ii) £70, (iii) £80, (iv) £90, (v) £110, (vii) £130, (viii) £140, (ix), £150, (x) £160 and (xi) £170 under (1) the existing tax and benefit system and (2) the new system to be implemented in April.
§ Mr. PortilloI regret that it is not possible to produce average rent and rates figures for Northern Ireland similar to those previously published for Great Britain.
