To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he has received any representations from any middle east states seeking United Kingdom assistance in forming a nuclear weapon free zone in the middle east.

No. However, we regularly join consensus at the first committee of the United Nations on a resolution sponsored by Egypt proposing such a zone.
