HC Deb 22 March 1988 vol 130 cc78-9W
Mr. Wallace

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received concerning the implications for security in Northern Ireland of the joint co-ordinated enactment by different countries of similar laws on terrorism; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Tom King

I have received no such representations, but the Government are strongly committed to the development of international co-operation in the fight against terrorism and recognise the importance of such co-operation in defeating the terrorist in Northern Ireland.
