Mr. David Nicholson

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will list in theOfficial Report the trade missions from the United Kingdom to Saudi Arabia since 1 January 1982, indicating (a) which received financial assistance from his Department, (b) the main organising bodies, (c) the purposes, and (d) the precise destination of each.

The following trade missions have visited Saudi Arabia with DTI assistance since 1 January 1982:

The purpose of each mission was the promotion of British exports.

Information about missions since 1982 receiving no DTI financial assistance is not readily available.
