HC Deb 17 March 1988 vol 129 c684W
Mr. Beggs

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what facilities exist to have the names of members of the Ulster Defence Regiment who have been murdered by terrorists placed on war memorials in Northern Ireland.

Mr. Needham

Anyone can apply to have a name added to a war memorial, but the decision whether this will be allowed rests with those in whose charge the memorial has been placed. In most, but not all, cases this will be a district council.
