§ Mr. Ian StewartWhen my right hon. Friend met M. Giraud in the context of the Anglo-French summit on 29 January they discussed a range of issues including equipment collaboration and European security co-operation. The talks were a valuable continuation of the close bilateral dialogue which we enjoy with France on defence matters.
