To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he last met the leader of Camden council; and what was discussed.

Mr. Chope

On my right hon. Friend's behalf, I met representatives of Camden council, including the leader, Councillor Dykes, on 28 January to discuss my right hon. Friend's proposal for Camden's rate limit for 1988–89.

My hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Planning also met the council, including Councillor Dykes, on 9 February to discuss homelessness in the borough.
