Mr. Bermingham

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) how much was spent during the financial year 1986–87 on assisted prison visits in England and Wales;

(2) how much it is anticipated will be spent on assisted prison visits in England and Wales during the financial year 1987– 88;

(3) how much it is anticipated will be spent on assisted prison visits in England and Wales during the financial year 1988–89.
