§ Mr. McLeishTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give the total expenditure of the Scottish Development Agency in Scotland in each of the years from 1979–80 to 1987–88 in both cash and real terms for each department of the agency; and what are the amounts of planned expenditure for the years 1988–89, 1989–90 and 1990–91.
§ Mr. LangBecause of changes in agency structure over the years, it is not possible to provide information on expenditure by each department of the agency on a consistent basis. Total agency expenditure in cash and real terms at 1987–88 prices is set out in the table:
