To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster when he next expects to meet Dr. Donaldson, secretary of the Association of Innovation Centres Executives, to discuss Government funding for industry.

My right hon. and learned Friend has no plans to meet the secretary of the Association of Innovation Centre Executives, Dr. Donaldson. However, I recently met Dr. Donaldson and other members of AICE to discuss the work of innovation centres, and ways in which these centres might be able to contribute to DTI's new innovation policies. I have agreed to visit the northeast innovation centre later in the year.
