To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will discuss with the Association of London Authorities the level of expenditure by local authorities in London on support for gay and lesbian groups.

§ Mr. Chope
No. Clause 28 of the Local Government Bill will ensure that expenditure by local authorities for the purpose of promoting homosexuality will no longer be permitted.
