§ Mr. ParkinsonThe amount of electricity provided by the Central Electricity Generating Board in the financial year 1986 –87 amounted to 238 TWh. Of this, 75 per cent. was generated by coal-fired power stations, 16 per cent. from nuclear, 5 per cent. oil and 4 per cent. from other sources.
