§ Mr. HowardCommunity centres, like other non-domestic properties, will be subject to the uniform national non-domestic rate. Those which are run by charitable trustees will, however, benefit from 50 per cent. mandatory rate relief; and almost all, apart from those run directly by local authorities, will be eligible for up to 100 per cent. relief at the discretion of the borough or district council.
