§ Mrs. CurrieFor research of this nature the Department looks principally to the Medical Research Council which is the main agency through which Government promote medical and related biological research, and which receives its grant-in-aid from the Department of Education and Science. At their recent annual stocktaking meeting with the Medical Research Council, officials raised the question of further research in this field. I understand that the Medical Research Council will be considering this matter.
