§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe police are conducting a full appraisal of last season, and will feed the results of that review into planning for next season in consultation with football clubs. My noble Friend the Minister of State and my hon. Friend the Minister with responsibility for sport 681W will also be discussing with the police and the football authorities what further joint steps need to be taken to curtail further the violence at football matches.
