(2) to whom ethics committees in district health authorities report; if these reports are published; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. NewtonAll health authorities are required to have a committee to advise them on the ethical aspects of clinical research. The objectives and composition of these local ethical committees are described in circular HSC(IS)153 of June 1975, a copy of which is in the Library. The reports are not normally published.
