HC Deb 17 June 1988 vol 135 c359W
Mr. Tony Banks

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations his Department has received regarding the illegal dumping of building waste in London.

Mr. Moynihan

[holding answer 16 June 1988]: The Department has received many representations about fly-tipping in London, including dumping of building waste, both from hon. Members and from the general public. We recognise this as a serious problem and have consulted on legislative proposals which assist its solution. We expect to announce the conclusions of the consultation shortly.
