§ Mr. ViggersThirteen organisations have been designated to participate in the distribution of food in Northern Ireland under the European Community free food scheme. A list of designated organisations in the United Kingdom has been placed in the Library.
Given the voluntary nature of the scheme it is not possible to ensure that all parts of Northern Ireland are covered. However, although most of the designated organisations in Northern Ireland will be distributing the food in their immediate locality, two have indicated that they intend to operate more widely in the Province.
