To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how much expenditure his Department has allowed the London Docklands Development Corporation to incur on the internal refurbishment of dwellings in the urban development area.

Mr. Trippier

Expenditure of £90,000 has been approved exceptionally for the internal refurbishment of three dwellings owned by the London borough of Tower Hamlets. The corporation is considering what further contribution it might make for this purpose for discussion with the Department.
