§ The Attorney-GeneralDuring 1987, a total of 3,914 actions for possession of residential premises were entered at county courts in Cheshire, although only some of these will have resulted in a subsequent application for a warrant of eviction. Information on how many of the parties to these actions received legal aid is not held centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
