§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe transport of the waste will, I understand, take place under the terms of the European agreement covering the international carriage of dangerous goods by road (ADR). Special monitoring is unnecessary. In addition to the requirements of the agreement, a consignment note must be raised at the port of entry in Great Britain when imported waste is special waste under the terms of the Control of Pollution (Special Waste) Regulations 1980.
