§ Mr. Nicholls[holding answer 17 May 1988]: In 1987–88 the provisional total cost of the job training scheme, excluding administrative costs, was £64.7 million. On that basis, the per capita cost was £646 per entrant and £939 per leaver. Information on the per capita cost of people leaving the job training scheme with a vocational qualification is not available.
