Mr. Salmond

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list Scottish Development Agency investments in companies in(a) Scottish constituencies and (b) Scottish districts since November 1984.

[holding answer 16 June 1988]: Information on the number of companies in which the Scottish Development Agency has invested cannot be provided on a constituency and district basis without incurring disproportionate cost. However, the table sets out the total value of SDA investments by Scottish constituencies and districts, over the four financial years 1984–85 to 1987–88.
