Whether they will publish the individual and aggregate salaries and expenses of the chairmen since their inception of the water authorities, residuary bodies, urban development corporations and regional and district health authorities.

The annual HMSO publication Public Bodies, first produced in 1982, records the remuneration of the chairmen of water authorities, residuary bodies, urban development corporations, regional and district health authorities, Scottish health boards and health and social services boards in Northern Ireland. The current remuneration of chairmen of the present bodies is as follows:

Information on the salaries of chairmen of health authorities, Scottish health boards and the health and social services boards in Northern Ireland prior to 1982 is not readily available.

Information on the expenses paid to the individual chairmen listed is not held centrally.
