Mr. Janner

To ask the Attorney-General what surveys of applicants have been carried out in recruitment schemes by the Treasury Solicitor's Department and the Lord Chancellor's Department, respectively, in respect of the sex and race of applicants and of those appointed; and with what results.

The Solicitor-General

This information is being analysed on a servicewide basis by the Cabinet Office (Office of the Minister for the Civil Service).
