§ Mr. FreemanThe advance notification on live firing on Dartmoor range is intended to warn the public of the closure of these areas for safety reasons and is a 583W requirement under the byelaws. Training or range areas are not closed when the training taking place involves no live firing as this does not constitute a danger to the public; there is, therefore, no need to give advance notice to the public of this form of training.
