To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he proposes to amend article 31/7 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 to provide adequate protection to objects and structures within the curtilage of listed buildings; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 25 July 1988]: No. For the reasons set out in my previous answer I am satisfied that the provisions of article 31(7) of the Planning (NI) Order 1972 provide the protection required.
