To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he expects to reach and publish conclusions on the future of the National Advisory Council for the Youth Service; and what representations he has received on this subject; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend has received no formal representations about the future of the National Advisory Council for the Youth Service. He expects to make an announcement before the end of the year.
