§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonIt is the Forestry Commission's practice to co-operate with the military authorities wherever possible to meet their training requirements. Extensive use is made of commission land for this purpose, the most recent notable example being exercise Purple Warrior in south-west Scotland.
