HC Deb 27 July 1988 vol 138 c312W
43. Mr. Kirkwood

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what is his policy towards devolution for Scotland, in the light of the report entitled "A Claim of Right for Scotland" published by the Campaign for a Scottish Assembly, a copy of which has been sent to him; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Rifkind

In this House, and elsewhere, I have made my views on devolution very clear. These views are not changed by this report, and I have no plans to make a statement.

50. Mr. Malcolm Bruce

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from the Campaign for a Scottish Assembly seeking a meeting to discuss its recent report entitled "A Claim of Right for Scotland".

Mr. Rifkind

I have received no request for a meeting from the Campaign for a Scottish Assembly since its report, "A Claim of Right for Scotland", was published.
