§ Mr. MoynihanAt present rates of mineral extraction and waste disposal by landfill, rather more void space is created each year than is required for landfill. Not all voids are suitable for use or landfill and they are unevenly spread throughout the country. In general, however, we do not expect there to be a shortage of void space for the disposal of United Kingdom waste.
