§ Mr. TrippierA revised application for an integrated development operation for Manchester-Salford-Trafford is currently being jointly considered by the Departments of Trade and Industry, Employment and this Department. Subject to Government approval of the application, it will shortly be forwarded to the United Kingdom permanent representative to the European Community, who will lodge it with the European Commission. Thereafter, the timetable for processing the application rests with the European Commission.
