To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he last met with representatives of COSLA to discuss the implementation of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986.

My officials have had two meetings with representatives of the convention to discuss the implications of sections of the Act which have already been implemented: the second was on 31 August 1987 and was concerned with section 13 which was brought into operation on 1 February 1988.
