§ Mrs. RumboldPreparation for parenthood may form part of the provision made in the school curriculum for personal and social education (PSE). My right hon. Friend is asking the National Curriculum Council to give early priority to considering the content of PSE; he has also asked the subject working groups for the national curriculum to consider how pupils' personal qualities and competencies can be developed through their subjects.
