To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the latest year for which he has obtained data from local authority social services departments concerning the services they provide for people with disabilities; and how many local authorities failed to provide information.

The latest year for which data have been collected is the year ended 31 March 1987. Seven local authorities failed to provide returns.
