To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what impact the current industrial dispute at VSEL, Barrow has had on the building of Trident submarines; and if he will make a statement.

As a result of the industrial dispute at VSEL, some slight delays are now being experienced in the construction of HMS Vanguard and HMS Victorious.
