§ Mr. PortilloLower paid working families with children can now receive more help through family credit. Non-working families with children, as well as lone parents, disabled people and pensioners get specific additional help through the premiums in the income support scheme.
Overall, this year, we plan to spend an extra £200 million net in weekly income-related benefits on low-income families with children.
