§ Mr. WakehamThirty-nine right hon. and hon. Members have so far availed themselves of the Fees Office facility for payroll giving to charities. The total amount of the gifts to charity from this source in 1988–89 is estimated as £5,220. Members who also hold ministerial office are known to be contributing through their departmental schemes; other Members may be giving through organsations from which they receive regular emoluments.
