§ Dr. David ClarkTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will list the research work his Ministry has funded at the River laboratory, Forest Stoke, Wareham, and the amount of money paid by his Ministry for each project over the last five years.
§ Mr. Donald Thompson[holding answer 7 July 1988.]: My Department has funded only one project at the River laboratory, Wareham over the last five years. This was concerned with salmonid—coarse fish interacations in chalk streams with funding in 1983–84, 1984–85 and 1985–86 at £45,400, £47,900 and £48,000 respectively. This project ceased in 1985–86 and there has been no subsequent expenditure with the River laboratory.
