§ Mr. GrocottTo ask the Minister for the Civil Service if he will issue guidance to the Departments of Trade and Industry, Employment and Health and Social Security on the efficient maintenance of staff records, so as to enable them to answer parliamentary questions on the educational background of senior civil servants without involving disproportionate cost, in a manner similar to other Government Departments.
