To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what plans he has to visit Leicester to discuss the development of combined heat and power.

Mr. Peter Morrison

I visited Leicester Energy Ltd. last autumn to discuss its planned combined heat and power and district heating scheme and my officials maintain close contact with it on factors affecting the implementation of this project.
